Hi! I’m Kathy.

I’m Canberra-based illustrator and designer who works across traditional and digital mediums.

I create intricately detailed watercolour illustrations inspired by flora, fauna, food, and everyday objects. With a love for storytelling, I also illustrate children’s picture books.

I hold a Bachelor of Creative Arts with Distinction from the University of Southern Queensland (Visual Arts/Marketing) and am recipient of the Golden Key International Honour Society Award for Visual and Performing Arts (Painting) in 2013. Alongside my practice, I completed a Certificate IV in Graphic Design and work professionally in Communications, Marketing and Design.

My illustrations have appeared in children’s books, magazines, greeting cards, and licensed collections, including collaborations with publishers such as Little Steps Publishing and Empowering Resources, Nuovo Group and BioPak. My fine art botanical illustration has also appeared on Australia Post stamps!
