Hi! I’m Kathy.

I’m a Canberra-based illustrator and designer working at the intersection of storytelling, brand and communication.

I use detailed watercolour illustration alongside digital design to help organisations and creative businesses turn complex ideas into visuals that feel engaging, accessible and human.

My work is inspired by flora, fauna and everyday moments, and spans everything from brand and publication design to illustrated campaigns and picture books. I’m particularly interested in how illustration can be used beyond decoration — as a tool for connection, education and audience experience.

Alongside my creative practice, I work professionally in communications, marketing and design, bringing a strategic lens to how visual work is applied in real-world contexts.

My illustrations have appeared in children’s books, magazines, greeting cards and licensed collections, including collaborations with Little Steps Publishing, Empowering Resources, Nuovo Group and BioPak. My botanical illustration has also featured on Australia Post stamps.
